About Big Brothers Big Sisters

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has remained the expert in youth mentoring since its founding in 1904.  In 1977 the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organizations merged into Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the national headquarters was established in Philadelphia.  Today BBSA provides one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and children primarily from single-parent families in over 500 programs throughout the United States.

 

Vision Statement:  Big Brothers and Big Sister of Northwest Wyoming is a stable organization working within an informed public image which will provide a positive adult role model for all eligible children within our service area.

 

Service Area:  Big Horn County, Fremont County, Hot Springs County, Park County and Washakie County.

 

Mission Statement:  Big Brothers and Big Sisters mission is to create, foster, and support mentoring relationships that produce confident, competent and caring boys and girls.
